Are you an experienced Site Services / Utilities Engineer looking for a role with real variety, ownership and a clean, well-run site?
Our client is looking for someone to take the lead on keeping their major food production facility running smoothly — from steam boilers to compressed air, water systems, refrigeration, and general building services.
What you’ll be doing
• Maintaining & troubleshooting steam boilers, steam distribution and pressure systems (PSSR)
• Looking after compressed air, water, refrigeration and effluent systems
• General building & facilities maintenance across a modern site
• Working on small projects, upgrades and continuous improvements
• Managing contractors, reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe site operations
• Supporting production by keeping all utilities reliable, safe and efficient
What we’re looking for
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or another regulated environment
• Strong background in utilities: steam, boilers, plant rooms or site services
• Confident with PSSR, permits, safety and compliance
• Hands-on engineer who enjoys variety and problem solving
• BOAS, IOSH or NEBOSH would be a bonus — not essential
